Newborn baby shopping list with pictures and free downloadable list

There are loads of to-do’s when getting ready for your baby's arrival, and shopping for all the baby essentials can be a bit of a minefield. From setting up the nursery to figuring out what you need for bath time, nappy change, feeding, and more.

I often think about all the things I needed with my first child and also all the stuff I was told I needed and never actually got the chance to use. Now that I am on baby number two and more experience, I thought it would be helpful to put together a list of essential baby gear that I believe is a great starting point for any first-time parents.

This baby checklist is intended as a soft guild, there is absolutely nothing stopping you from buying exactly what you want😊 but it’s worth understanding what's essential and what is basically a nice extra.

Below is a rundown of all you need for the first 6 months, plus a printable PDF for you to download and print at the end.
